The multi-disc white water recovery machine is a piece of equipment used in the papermaking industry for white water recovery and pulp concentration, featuring advantages such as high efficiency, energy conservation, and environmental friendliness. Below is a detailed introduction:
Purpose
It is mainly used for the recovery of white water generated during the papermaking process of paper machines. It can recover fibers from white water, enabling closed-cycle use of water, reducing water consumption in papermaking, eliminating pollution from white water discharge, and saving water resources. Meanwhile, it can also be used for pulp concentration in the pulping process.
Structural Composition
It is mainly composed of discs, nozzles, filtrate valves, roller bearings, feed boxes, etc. A disc consists of a dozen to twenty
sectors, and each sector includes a hollow water filter plate and a frame fixed on the central shaft. There are two types of
nozzles: pulp stripping nozzles and mesh cleaning nozzles. The pulp stripping nozzles spray water obliquely against the rotation direction of the discs, while the mesh cleaning nozzles adopt a swing type. The filtrate valve divides the disc into a vacuum zone and a non-vacuum zone, and discharges the gas-water mixture in the vacuum zone to the water-sealed tank. Roller bearings are installed at both ends for support, and the feed box is combined with the filter tank.
Working Principle
During operation, the solids in the white water are deposited on the filter mesh and form a filter layer on the disc. The water then flows through the filter layer and filter mesh into the sector area, enters the central shaft, and flows out from the filtrate valve at the end of the central shaft. Each rotation of the disc goes through a natural filtration zone, a vacuum suction filtration zone, a pulp stripping zone, and a mesh cleaning zone. In the natural filtration zone, the disc is immersed in the paper stock to form a pulp layer, and the effluent water is relatively turbid; as the disc rotates, the filter layer thickens, and the filtration pressure difference is increased by the filtrate valve with the help of the water leg vacuum, making the water clear; when the disc leaves the paper stock suspension, the pulp layer is further dehydrated; when entering the pulp stripping and mesh cleaning zone, the vacuum is cut off, the pulp layer is stripped from the mesh by the pulp stripping water spray pipe, and then the filter mesh is cleaned by the swing water spray pipe, thus completing a cycle.
